(Xerox, 7/25/2011) Three inventors from Webster reach 150th, 100th and 75th patents ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Three inventors at Xerox Corporation with a knack for turning ideas into practical customer solutions were recognized this month for passing patent milestones that rank them among the nation’s most inventive minds. Jin Wu, a project leader in the Consumables Development and Manufacturing Group (CD&MG) has reached 172 patents. Illertissen Site Awarded Certification for Food Safety

(BASF, 7/15/2011) The Illertissen site of BASF Personal Care and Nutrition GmbH has successfully completed certification for the new food safety standard FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification). The certification applies to all products produced in the esterification, spray-drying and food emulsifier systems at the Illertissen site. (June 15, 2011) Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announced today that it has signed a technology agreement with Montefibre S.p.A (Montefibre) granting SABIC and its affiliates an extensive international licence on carbon fiber technology developed by Montefibre. SABIC will first use the technology for a new carbon fiber plant to be built in Saudi Arabia. This plant demonstrates how SABIC continues to add innovative new specialty products to its offering.
