Center for Inherited Disease Research (CIDR) High Throughput Genotyping and Sequencing Resource Access (X01) — With the continued advances in our ability to detect human genetic variation, there is great interest in applying state-of-the-art technology to find genetic elements important in human health and disease. For many studies this requires high-throughput genotyping technologies that cannot be efficiently carried out in individual investigator laboratories. CIDR fulfills this need for many kinds of projects including whole genome association studies (GWAS); gene searches using next-generation sequencing technology and high-throughput custom genotyping.
